Dream – The unethical wish

The dream I had last night…

Was no less than a suprising delight…

He who I never wished to meet..

Was at a place where I never thought to be…

Bahamas, the county totally unknown..

With strange people left my mind blown…

They were singing and dancing..

To the tunes I had never heard before…

Expecting to see familiar faces..

I turned my head to find Indian traces..

Giving me a sharp stroke..

There I found the man with whom I had long ago broke..

Resting his back towards the wall..

And right leg bent making sure not to fall…

Blowing away a puff with his head down…

Throwing the attitude he had always owned..

I Gathered courage to get up from the wooden chair…

Walking towards the guy for whom I would once care..

I couldn’t frame the words I would speak..

But one tiny wish that in front of him I won’t freak..

The words that came out were right..

But the accent was never in my sight..

A strange arabic pronunciation..

In American country brought in more complication.

Assuming his ignorance which he always did..

I stood there looking at him like a kid..

The same accent by him cut through my expectations…

A ray of hope run through me keeping aside my limitations..

With a jerk the dream came to an end…

But the hope didn’t leave to be his friend…

May be he could be my pal  once again..

Then gradually proceed to drench in the rain…
